Making a difference matters to us at General Demolition. That’s why we were proud to support the StrongMen Annual Fundraiser (AF 2025), on September 11th at the Kia Oval, London.
With over forty years of industry experience and a focus on building stronger futures, we see this event as an important opportunity to back a cause that delivers real impact to people’s lives.
StrongMen is a UK charity that provides vital support for men coping with bereavement. By combining physical challenges, peer networks and professional guidance, the charity helps individuals rebuild confidence and reconnect with life after loss. Their work addresses a need that is too often overlooked, ensuring men have the tools and support they need when it matters most.
This year, General Demolition proudly hosted table at the event to help raise funds directly for StrongMen’s support programmes. These contributions enable the charity to extend its reach and provide essential services to more people navigating difficult times. Our team we excited to stand alongside industry peers, partners and the wider community in supporting StrongMen’s important mission.
“StrongMen is a charity doing essential work to support men at their lowest moments. Bereavement can be incredibly isolating, and the services they provide make a huge difference. We are proud to support their Annual Fundraiser and to stand with others in raising awareness and funds for such an important cause,” said George Stainton, Managing Director at General Demolition.
The Annual Fundraiser united industry leaders, sports figures and charity supporters to highlight the importance of bereavement care and mental health. With a lively programme of auctions and entertainment, the evening was both memorable and meaningful.
We were delighted to participate in the StrongMen Annual Fundraiser this September and to celebrate the outstanding work that the charity continues to deliver.
